Spring is here! Our PA/ADA Flower Fundraiser is a wrap with LOTS of beautiful hanging baskets ordered - thanks everyone for your support on this!

Show season is soon upon us for those who didn't start early with the Dressage Daze shows and there is a nice lineup of schooling shows in the central Alberta area with possibly, a couple more to be added! (see PA/ADA Events link for the listing and check back often) Fun and new for this year, schooling shows will be starting to add Prix Caprilli and Costume classes to their shows so be sure and give them a go and encourage others to join in! Have more fun with your horse and your friends! Year-end prizes for the best!!
How can PA/ADA reward you for being an active member? Review the PA/ADA Forms page to see how to apply for year-end awards and subsidies (for your training) and for those who qualify, a lot of great prizes at year-end too for your hard work showing throughout the season!!
The Mane Event is just around the corner April 26 - 28 and you will be able to see some of our PA/ADA members in the dressage ring this year!  Each session will feature a Junior, Adult Amateur and Professional dressage rider and from Friday to Sunday, the sessions will progress through the levels. Come out, watch, take in all the amazing booths and displays, visit the Alberta Dressage Booth and enter the prize draw!
Parkland's Dressage Daze I show held at the Ponoka Calnash Ag Events Centre on Feb 17th is now behind us!  The blistering cold winter weather didn't deter our many enthusiastic dressage riders who hauled into the nice warm facility to test their winter's training progress.  A big shout out to Shelagh Hohm for her organization of the Dressage Daze series and thanks as well, to the many volunteers who came and helped make our show run smoothly!
Entries are open and plans are well underway for Dressage Daze II, coming up March 16 & 17th. (You can find a link to the show information and entry form on the 'Events' page).  A fun casual show, offering both Wildrose and EC Silver show options and lots of fun classes, come out and enjoy some schooling show time with your horse and reconnect with your dressage community.  Try something new and enter a Prix Caprilli class for some jumping dressage good times or perhaps, test your equitation skills in the Working Dressage classes - your horse will enjoy the change!! You can even catch up on some shopping at our equestrian vendors.  Look forward to seeing you all in Ponoka!!
